Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Live As If Co. collects, uses, protects, and shares information through Edge to Ease, including participant check-ins, optional wearable information, AI-assisted content, and aggregate employer reporting.

Effective August 27, 2026

Commitment 01

Patterns, not people

Employers receive aggregate, de-identified patterns, not individual entries, scores, responses, stories, or wearable readings.

Commitment 02

Wearables are optional

Optional Smart Health ring information supports participant reflection. It is not used for diagnosis, identity verification, or individual employer reporting.

Commitment 03

No sale of check-in data

We do not sell participant check-in information, individual stories, or wearable-derived information.

Privacy is part of the product design. Edge to Ease is built to support individuals while giving organizations useful workforce-level insight without exposing individual participant activity.

1. Scope and data controller

This Privacy Policy applies to the Edge to Ease website, employer programs, pilots, assessments, check-ins, educational materials, communications, and related services provided by Live As If Co.

Live As If Co. is the controller of personal information processed through Edge to Ease, except where a signed agreement or applicable law establishes a different role. In some employer-sponsored programs, the employer may separately control information it collects directly from employees. This Policy does not govern an employer’s independent systems or employment records.

This Policy should be read together with the Edge to Ease Terms and Conditions and any participant consent form, employer agreement, or program-specific notice.

2. Information we collect

The information collected depends on how you interact with Edge to Ease.

Contact and participation information

  • Name, email address, organization, role, and contact preferences.
  • Participant ID, participant code, program assignment, and enrollment status.
  • Scheduling details, correspondence, support requests, and consent records.

Check-in and program information

  • Check-in dates and completion activity.
  • Self-reported clarity, emotional steadiness, recovery, stress, and workload strain.
  • Capacity-related scores or calculations, including CCI Lite where used.
  • The supportive move or protocol selected, whether it shifted anything, and participant comments.
  • Daily Clarity Stories, interpretation status, and whether a story was generated.

Optional wearable-derived information

  • Smart Health ring screenshots voluntarily submitted by the participant.
  • Sleep duration and heart-rate variability, also called HRV.
  • Other wearable information clearly described before collection or authorized through a future integration.

Website and technical information

  • IP address, browser, device type, operating system, referring page, and approximate location inferred from IP.
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and website performance or security logs.
  • Information submitted through booking forms, contact forms, or email links.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account information, medical records, genetic information, government identification numbers, or unrelated sensitive information through a check-in or comment field.

3. Where information comes from

We may receive information:

  • Directly from you when you register, complete a check-in, submit a comment, book a conversation, contact us, or provide consent.
  • From an employer or program sponsor, such as your name, email, organizational group, or eligibility for a program.
  • From a Smart Health ring, companion application, screenshot, or authorized wearable integration when you choose to participate.
  • Automatically from browsers, devices, cookies, hosting systems, and security logs.
  • From service providers that support scheduling, email, forms, databases, AI-assisted content, website hosting, and program administration.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Operate, administer, personalize, and improve Edge to Ease programs and services.
  • Confirm enrollment, record consent, authenticate access, and provide participant support.
  • Generate check-in results, Capacity Intelligence, Daily Clarity Stories, educational material, and suggested supportive practices.
  • Evaluate whether a participant reported a shift after using a protocol.
  • Create aggregate, de-identified organizational patterns and reports.
  • Communicate about participation, appointments, service changes, security, and requested information.
  • Understand website usage, troubleshoot problems, protect systems, prevent misuse, and maintain records.
  • Comply with contracts, legal obligations, valid requests, and applicable reporting requirements.

Depending on the context and applicable law, we process information based on consent, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests, compliance with law, or another legally recognized basis.

5. Optional wearable and physiological information disclosure

Edge to Ease does not use wearable information to identify or authenticate you. Employers do not receive your individual wearable readings, ring screenshots, sleep duration, HRV, or biometric information.

Some programs may offer an optional Smart Health ring or allow you to submit wearable-derived information. Sleep duration and HRV are physiological measurements. Depending on the jurisdiction and context, wearable-derived information may be treated as sensitive health information or biometric-related information even when it is not a biometric identifier.

What we collect

Edge to Ease may receive sleep duration, HRV, a ring screenshot, and related context you choose to submit. We do not intentionally collect fingerprints, face geometry, voiceprints, retinal or iris scans, or other biometric identifiers used to recognize a person.

Why we use it

We use optional wearable information to support participant reflection, create educational or AI-assisted content, understand capacity-related patterns, improve the program, and create de-identified aggregate analysis. It is not used for diagnosis, treatment, identity verification, or an individual employment decision.

Smart Health and companion services

Smart Health and any companion application may independently collect and process device information under their own privacy practices. Edge to Ease generally receives only the information a participant chooses to submit or authorizes through an integration. Live As If Co. does not control the manufacturer’s independent data practices.

Consent and withdrawal

Wearable participation is voluntary unless a separate signed agreement clearly says otherwise. You may withdraw permission for future wearable collection by contacting us. Withdrawal does not undo processing that already occurred and does not remove information already de-identified and incorporated into aggregate analysis.

6. AI-assisted content and Daily Clarity Stories

Edge to Ease may use artificial-intelligence services to generate Daily Clarity Stories, summaries, educational content, interpretations, or supportive suggestions. Providers may include Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, or Perplexity. The specific provider may change based on availability, program design, privacy controls, and service needs.

Relevant check-in information, participant comments, or optional wearable-derived information may be submitted to an AI provider when needed to generate the requested output. AI providers process information under their own terms, commercial arrangements, account settings, retention rules, and privacy practices. These practices are not identical across providers.

We limit AI-assisted features to supportive and educational purposes. AI output may be incomplete or inaccurate and is not medical, legal, employment, or mental-health advice. Edge to Ease does not use an AI-generated story to make an automated employment decision, and employers do not receive an individual participant’s Daily Clarity Story.

7. What employers receive

Employer and organizational reports are designed to show combined workforce-level patterns. Employers do not receive individual participant entries, scores, responses, comments, Daily Clarity Stories, ring screenshots, sleep readings, HRV, wearable information, or biometric information through Edge to Ease reporting.

Reports may include aggregate trends, participation patterns, protocol usage, reported shifts, and other de-identified organizational insights. When a group is too small to support meaningful de-identification, we may combine, withhold, or delay reporting to reduce the risk that a participant could be inferred or re-identified.

Employers remain responsible for information they collect independently and for their own employment, human-resources, benefit, and legal decisions.

8. How information is shared

We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors that support website hosting, email, forms, databases, scheduling, analytics, AI-assisted content, device integrations, security, and program administration. These may include Systeme.io, Airtable, Calendly, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Perplexity, depending on the services used.
  • Organizational clients. Aggregate, de-identified reporting as described above, not individual participant-level information.
  • With your direction or consent. When you ask us to disclose information or provide permission for a specific use.
  • Legal and safety reasons. When reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, enforce agreements, investigate misuse, protect rights and safety, or respond to a valid government request.
  • Business transactions. In connection with financing, due diligence, reorganization, merger, acquisition, sale, or transfer, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections and applicable law.
  • Professional advisers. Attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, and consultants who need information to provide professional services.

Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Their access is limited to the role they perform, subject to their contracts and applicable law.

9. Sale, behavioral advertising, and research

Live As If Co. does not sell participant check-in information, Daily Clarity Stories, wearable-derived information, or biometric information. We do not provide these categories to employers for targeted advertising or individual employment decisions.

We may use aggregate or de-identified information for internal analysis, product improvement, research, thought leadership, presentations, or publications when it is not reasonably intended to identify a participant. We will not publicly name a participant in connection with such information unless the participant separately agrees.

10. Cookies, analytics, and website data

The website and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate pages, remember preferences, understand traffic, prevent fraud, and improve performance. Some technologies are essential for the website to function. Others may support analytics or communications.

Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies can affect website functionality. If a legally required cookie preference tool is available, you may use it to manage optional categories.

11. How long information is retained

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including program delivery, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, accounting, and enforcement of agreements.

Unless an applicable agreement, consent form, investigation, legal hold, or law requires a different period, identifiable participant check-in and optional wearable information is scheduled for deletion or de-identification within six months after the applicable program ends. Contact records, consent records, contracts, invoices, and security records may be kept longer when needed for legitimate business or legal purposes.

De-identified aggregate information may be retained for trend analysis, research, service improvement, and organizational reporting because it is no longer maintained as individual participant information.

12. Data security and incident response

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Safeguards may include access restrictions, account controls, vendor review, data minimization, de-identification, backups, and secure transmission where available.

No system can guarantee absolute security. If we discover a security incident affecting covered information, we will investigate and provide notifications required by applicable law.

13. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information we maintain about you. You may also have rights to restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent for future processing, or appeal a denied request.

To submit a request, email shalece@liveasif.co with the subject “Edge to Ease Privacy Request.” Describe your request and the program in which you participated. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and protect your information from unauthorized disclosure.

Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We may require proof of authorization and direct identity verification. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

14. Deletion requests and aggregate-report limitations

A verified deletion request generally applies to identifiable information still held by Live As If Co., subject to legal and operational exceptions. We may retain information required to document consent, comply with law, maintain security, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or exercise legal rights.

Once your de-identified contribution has been combined with other participants’ information and incorporated into an aggregate report, that contribution cannot practicably be separated, deleted from, or recalled within a report already created or delivered. You will not be named or identified in that aggregate report.

Deleting identifiable source information does not require us to delete aggregate or de-identified information that is no longer reasonably linked to you.

15. Email, SMS, and scheduling communications

We may use Systeme.io to send program messages, administrative notices, requested information, and marketing emails where permitted. We may use Calendly or a similar service to schedule conversations. If SMS is offered, the relevant form will provide specific consent and opt-out information.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message. You may still receive service-related, transactional, security, consent, or legally required communications.

16. Children’s privacy

Edge to Ease services are intended for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the services. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

17. International processing

Live As If Co. is based in the United States. Information may be processed or stored in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.

18. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the services, technology, vendors, legal requirements, or data practices. The effective date at the top will show when the Policy was last revised. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required by law.

We will not apply a materially broader use of identifiable participant information retroactively without notice and any consent required by law.
